District Announces Leadership Appointments

The Abbotsford School District is pleased to announce the following leadership appointments that took effect on January 1, 2026.

Monica Schulte has been appointed Secretary-Treasurer. Since joining the district in August 2022 as Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, Monica has brought a highly analytical and thorough approach to financial stewardship. A Chartered Professional Accountant, she is also recognized for her commitment to collaboration, relationship-building, and continuous improvement.

Season 2 of the award-winning Journey to 2036 celebrates Grade 2 students as they grow into confident learners. 

Numeracy shines throughout the season. Students share the excitement of solving big-number equations, exploring “growing patterns” and discovering that math can be fun and easy. These “wow” moments show how problem-solving builds confidence and curiosity at an early age.
