Shared Learning Conference 2026 and Pro-D Day of Learning

District staff members came together for our annual Shared Learning Conference, a powerful day of professional growth and collaboration focused on student success.

This year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Keith Carlson, Professor of History at the University of the Fraser Valley and a Tier One Canada Research Chair in Indigenous and Community-Engaged History, challenged district staff to think differently about the stories we tell and the perspectives we centre in our work.

Throughout the day, staff also participated in district-led training sessions and workshops designed to strengthen instructional practice, deepen cultural understanding, and better support our diverse student population.

Days like this reflect our collective commitment to continuous learning, belonging, and meaningful engagement in every classroom across the Abbotsford School District.
